Here is my review of the show and the location.

2007 June 30th
USA MN St. Paul
Xcel Energy Center

By Jenny Schwab: My teenage son and I were fortunate enough to get tickets to the Roger Waters World Tour at the St. Paul, MN Xcel Energy Center on June 30th.

It was an amazing show! The facility was well organized with ample parking, ushers, souvenir stops and concessions.

There was plenty of fog starting well before the show began to help enhance the lasers and lights, making the show an unforgettable experience!

The sound quality was astonishing and crystal clear yet loud enough to pound through your chest and make you not only hear the show but feel the show as well.

We had seats that were considered “cheap” or “nosebleed” seats, but I will tell you one thing about our seats. Not only did I not wake up with a sore neck from having to look straight up to see any of the theatrics of the show, but I was able to relax and stay seated in my seat the whole night enjoying the FULL best views of the lights and lasers!

Floor seat ticket holders not only had to stand, but everyone in front of them stood as well making the expensive seat not quite as good of seats as one would expect!

The show was well worth any price that was paid for a ticket and I would go to another Roger Waters concert if given the opportunity in a heat beat!”

By GREG SWAN:

Fog filled the lobbies and outer hallways of the acoustic marvel we call Xcel Energy Center prior to the Roger Waters solo show this week, making it difficult for ushers to locate seats and inebriated fans to locate munchies.
