Chester Kamen


was born in Hackney, London


He started playing guitar aged 11, and at 18, turned professional.

His first recording was with a band called, Numbers. Chester and Numbers singer, Ouida, teamed up and were discovered by Bryan Ferry who produced their self penned single entitled, "Pick Up In A Nightclub".


Since then Chester has never looked back. He has worked with Madonna on "Like A Prayer", Robbie Williams on "Angels", Seal, Massive Attack and Gabrielle to name but a few.


He performed on stage at Live Aid and has played with Paul McCartney, Bob Geldof and Natalie Imbruglia.


Chester has been working with Texan singer, Shea Seger


Chester Kamen joined Roger Waters as a guitarist for the 2002 world tour. Some of the recordings for Bryan Ferry, gave Chester Kamen a chance to work with David Gilmour.
